Creating lasting ties and a sense of beloning.
Community projects are an amazing way to bring people together. Whether the purpose is to educate, to own a space or build your community you can be assured that your participants will have enormous fun. I have enjoyed co-ordinating large and small projects in Hampshire and North Wales. These range from a massive windmill mosaic involving 500 people to a tactile brick sculpture created by a small group of partially sighted adults and children. Over the last 5 years I have managed projects for The Anglesey Archive, Beaumaris RNLI, Llanfairfechan Town Council, Disability Arts Cymru, Cwlwm Seriol and several Schools. In the last six months I have been creating tiles with two communities, the residents in Llanddona for a large panel for their Neuadd Bentref entrance and with the people of Rhiwlas to make 5 panels for their beautifully modernised Neuadd Bentref. If you want to know more about how these projects work, cost, duration, etc., please get in touch.
